As the blooms open and mature, the colors shift and mingle, giving each flower a beautifully imperfect, almost painted appearance.

Its full, peony-like blooms bring an incredible amount of texture to the late spring garden. Drumline has presence without feeling overly bright or polished—the deeper berry tones and irregular creamy markings give it an old-world quality that works especially well in more layered, moody plantings.
